— the process

nature does half the work

cyanotype, aka sun prints, is one of the oldest forms of photography, developed in 1842. two chemicals, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, are mix together to create the stunning blue pigment, known as “prussian blue”.

the process invites imperfection! a cloud shifts mid-exposure; a petal gets bent; the wind moves a fern. all of it shows up in the final piece — and that's the whole point.

every print is a record of a particular plant, on a particular day, under particular light.

All of the garments are sealed with a permanent dye that's safe to wash and wear for years — unlike traditional cyanotype which requires careful handling. Your piece is made to live in.

  • Made with locally foraged & grown plants from Vermont and beyond

  • Botanicals pressed and reused for years and years

  • Permanent, washable prints made to be worn and loved
